This shirt is made with care using reclaimed and recycled materials, supporting both sustainability and responsible craftsmanship. It reflects a commitment to reducing waste and making conscious choices for the environment. The Woodstock Shirt, like the festival itself, is a symbol of how we can come together to protect our planet and create something meaningful from what we already have.

I wanted to keep the pattern easy to wear and to sew. I'll walk you through the steps, but before you start your project, please read the sewing instructions through.

Once you feel you`re ready, let's start!

Choosing the right size

The fit of the shirt is intentionally loose and oversize. The model in the picture is wearing a size 2 and has a bust measurement of 85 cm (33.5”). The oversized fit is comfy, but feel free to size up or down to meet your preferred fit.

Measure your bust and hip circumferences at the fullest points. Check the size guide to decide which one will be the best choice.

Supplies

Sewing machine (serger), thread, pins, measuring tape, fabric chalk or pencil, and scissors.

Printing the digital pattern
The shirt is a digital PDF pattern that you can print at home. The tiled pattern can be printed on A4 or letter-sized paper. After printing the sheets, piece them together to create the whole pattern. Make sure to check the scale by printing the first page and measuring the test square. Alternatively, I've included an A0 pattern if you prefer larger formats and want to skip taping the pattern together. There’s also a bonus projector file, if you prefer that method for cutting out your pattern. Please note! Print the first page of the pattern to check that the square is exactly 4 x 4 cm / 1 x 1“. If it is, then everything is to scale. If it is not, check your printer settings are set to “do not scale” and keep the size at 100 %.

Fabric and consuption
This pattern is for WOVEN FABRICS. If you'd prefer to buy fabric, a drapey, woven fabric works best. Think cotton lawn (80 gsm), washed linen (100–150 gsm), tencel (8–130 gsm) or viscose (130 gsm). All seam allowances are included in the pattern and are 1 cm (3/8”) unless otherwise stated!
